Round or square header gaskets??

I trying to order some Percy dead soft header gaskets.
I have 083 TPI heads and I'll be installing Hooker 2055 headers.

I think the cyl head exhaust ports are square (but not sure).

I'm pretty sure the Hooker headers will have round ports (they're not here yet).

I did a search and found one thread that said to get gaskets to match the headers port shape.

The guy at Jegs said to get square port gaskets.

Should I get round or square port gaskets???

get the ones that match the headers.

the heads have enough flatspace to seal around it.

most SBC HEADER gaskets are round.
most SBC exhaust MANIFOLD gaskets are square.

Get square ones. I have the 2055's and the ports match the heads, which are squarish. The gaskets that come with them are also square.
