3/4 or 5/8?

I am trying to decide what to get the 3/4 or 5/8 headers. Both are nice but what will i get out of them? Power, sound, what are the pros and cons?

Both will do you just fine. The one thing you have to ask yourself, though, is what do you have planned for the car. If your not planning on doing anything more than 400 or so ponies, i'd say go with the 5/8. If you plan on going higher, go with the 3/4's.

1 3/4s are usually for highly modded 350's, 1 5/8s would probably be enough. Kinda like a TB, 48mm (stock) are good for alot of power, when your're really up there that's when you wanna get a 52mm or 58mm depending. You do not list your car or plans though. So, it's really difficult to tell.

What if you plan on getting about 350 hp and 400 ft. lbs.
at the flywheel?

Is 1 3/4" headers still overkill??

With an N/A 350 thats not shifting over like 6200-6500RPM you'll be great with 1 5/8" headers even if you're making a good amount of power
