Is this possible...
Ok for some reason i was thining about this. Any way about a year ago august i was having some occasional brick walls in acceleration. Kind of like the tail pipe was bing completely blocked. Anyway one day it was doing this coming home from the gas station so i stepped on it. Completely to the floor. Suddenly my neck snaps, head slams into the seat and i am off. I look back (going from 35to like 70mph in 2 seconds or so) and see this cloud of, for lack of a better word, debris. Now the cat doesn't rattle and the car isn't exceptionally loud and hasn't given me problems. So i assumed that the thing had blown the clogged screens out of the car when the back pressure got high enough. Is this possible or was it something else? I mean the car runs fine (especially since i replaced, what turned out to be, the original spark plug wires) so i am not worried, just curious.

a lot of times small animals (squirrels, etc) will build nests in mufflers and tailpipes, sometimes almost completely clogging the exhaust, when built far up in the muffler. Not that i'm saying that i think that's what happened, but i've seen this on a few cars i've worked on.
