Transmission: auto with b&m shifter
Axle/Gears: i dont know. they're stock
78 front end on an 83?

does anyone know if its possible to get a 78' z28 camaro's front end to work with an 83' z28 camaro? i like the way those look better. just curious if its possible...

That would take a LOT of custom fabrication.

really? so they are THAT much different then? i don't think id actually do it. i just like the way the front end of a 78' looks better than an 83. dont they look pretty much the same though? aside from little differences like the back windshield and stuff. i guess it would look pretty much like a 78, instead of an 83 from first glance...like i said though i probably wont ever do it.

but yes, if i do end up doing it i will deffinitly post pics. but i think finding a front end of a 78 will be a bit hard. I still think it would look pretty cool.

There is absolutely nothing in common between 2nd Gens and 3rd Gens (except a few small parts). I'm pretty sure it would look silly, 2nd Gens are much morve curvy than the edgy shapes of 3rd Gens.

if you really want to see a different front end, rear end on a third gen iroc along with other camaros check out my photo album `conversions` under my profile irock88 they were just not meant to be...Iroc limo dosent look too bad!

personally i think that mustang/camaro, looks pretty bad ***. thats a mean looking car.

looks like the hood and front bumper have been narrowed down it also looks like the engine size is 2.4 liter on the scoop
