stock size pipes

Engine: 305
Transmission: 700R4
stock size pipes

i have a 91 z28 covertible with a 305 auto and im ripping out the cat does any1 know what size pipe i have under there so i can get pipe 2 replace the cat thank you

Depends upon which induction you have. If TBI, it's 2-1/4". If TPI, 3".

z28 would mean tpi, so I assume 3 inch. Just measure the inlet of the cat.

Measure the circumference of the pipe on your car and divide by pi (3.1416) and you'll have the (outer) diameter.
