Custom exhaust routing
Prolly gonna get a custom exhaust built after xmas ($$$) but I'm not sure how I want to route it. Exhaust on their now goes down under the passenger door sill then back to the middle, into a single tube, then spits at the tips. Not to most efficient, if you ask me. Plus the flowmasters aren't loud enough
.
Anway, I was thinking maybe dumping it behind the front wheels, with some shorty mufflers after the cats. Or if that won't work, maybe dumping it in front of the rear wheels. I wanna do something somewhat original that'll still sound good. Any opinions? Pictures would be much appreciated, too.

You have the stock routing, which was answered in your previous thread. Yours may be sagging down a little more than typical, that's all.
There's nothing "original" about what you propose. See stickie at the top of this forum: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=204351
Without exception, such systems will compromise at least one (if not all) of the following: Ground clearance; passenger compartment resonance; keeping fumes out of the passenger compartment; appearance (I'd say "ghetto", but that isn't nice...).
On an otherwise stock TPI car, they would also be a waste of performance money. A properly chosen and installed set of aftermarket products, routed as-factory, will maintain ground clearance, keep interior noise to a minimum, route fumes away from the passenger compartment, look good, sound nice, and support performance well beyond what a TPI system can produce.

I mean original as I haven't ever seen a 3rd gen with side-exit pipes. Didn't go to that link because I'm in a hurry, but I have no doubt it's been done before.
