I run a Dynomax Ultra Flo™ Welded Muffler on my car. Stock manifolds, no cat, and single out.
Check it out. I friggin love it. I'll never run another muffler!

from what I understand about the super turbo system, it will be great for your RS, but your 5.7 might need a better muffler, like the ultra flow. My buddy's got an 89 rs with chip and air cleaner, he loves his super turbo. Do a search in this forum with my name and super turbo and you'll find some answers.

I had a super turbo on my old 85 SC LG4 camaro. It was quiet, but had a nice mellow, fairly deep tone. It flowed pretty well also. BUT, IMO, nothing beats the sound of a dynomax!

I've had both SuperTurbo and Ultraflow. The Superturbo and ultraflow sound about the same at idle, but the ultraflow is louder at WOT. The only way to get a true 3" system from Dynomax is to buy the I-pipes and mufflers seperately.

well from what i hear this exhaust isn't going to be quiet as loud as i really want. I think i'm going to go with the Hooker cat-back. it's got 3" pipe vs the 2 1/2" of the dynomax, so it will flow better, and from what i understand it is a little bit louder than the dynomax. thanks for all the help.

I have a dynomax super turbo on my Z28, and i hate it. I have 3 inch exhaust and it is still quiet. The best sounding exhaust is magnaflow or flowmaster.
