Wires, what to use?

My headers are out getting coated, what you guys doing with all the wires right there by the starter? and also all the other wires that are going to be under the header on the passenger side.....

I wanna take care of that so when the headers come back I can just drop them in and proceed to bolt'em up and movin on to bigger and better things like getting this damn car rollin again..

Pics, pics...show me pics! :hail:

I left my wires alone and I have yet to have a problem. You should be okat as long as every wire is about .5" away from your headers.

What about covering the starter? should I get something for that? I guess with coated headers the heat is not as a big an issue...huh?

You are correct. There is quite a temp difference between the two. If you are super paranoid you can always get one of those starter heat shields.

I ran my MSD wires under my Edelbrock headers. If you want me to post pics I can.

No problems at all with heat so far.
