SLP headers and welding

is welding always required with the SLP header install? i was just wondering because there is a catalyst adapter for a 4 bolt cat. are there clamps or somthing for the adapter to y-pipe or does it need to be welded?

I installed mine without welding, no problems except a leaking flange on the passenger side at the head. It should fit your application, but I had to adjust mine a bit to get it to fit like I wanted.
