help!! Z06 or stock

dad just baught a 2004 Z06, he has borla he wants to put on. he said i can have his but would it put my hp down? or would it even look good? i would have to buy a "y" pipe wouldnt i? plz help me deside.......Greg

it will work, i can get it customized to where it will work, i just dont know wich one to put one, and yeah, corvette exhaust

Get ready to bust out your wallet. There is going to be a considerable amount of fab work to be done. Just do a search on "true duals" and see how easy they had it. I don't even know if that system will fit under the stock 3rd gen bumper. Vettes are really wide and so are their exhaust sytems. The over the axle pipes will not match up. I can tell you that right now. Apples to Oranges. Now if you cut those off and....not sure if it is worth it when you can get a sinlge 3" that will flow just as much.

Why put all that fab work into a 2.8 V6 anyway? Use the tips it wanted, but don't waste the time and money it takes to make the Vette exhaust work on a 3rdGen. Not worth it at all IMHO.
