3" intermediate pipe needed

Where can I buy a 3" mandrel bent intermediate pipe for our cars? What should I expect to pay for it?
Thanks

I think dynomax makes one but it may only be 2.5". It is a little over 100 bucks I think. Try a search because this comes up ever now and again and there are some pics. I think that their 3" pipe is only a small portion that runs over the axle.

You might wanna check with your local exhaust shop. I had a 3" mandrel bent midpipe (from cat, over the axle to the muffler) INSTALLED for $85.

Woul dyou have to buy both of those to complete the whole I pipe. I have a serious failuer in my hooker cat back and need to replace the I-pipe.

You don't want the dynomax pipe. There was a post a while ago about it having a major squish on the over axle part.

Yea I remeber seeing that but it wasn't to bad. Plus if you do have any non 3" section you want it as far back as possible so that the gas has time to cool and doesn't need the largest pipe. True 3" would be ideal but a little kink shouldn't hold you back if you have anything up to 300rwhp.

I've gotten two from a local parts shop. Don't know why they had them, but a buddy told me to go there. Low and behold they had them. Fit perfect. Had one on my IROC and now have one on my bird. Payed $60 for them a piece. PAPA auto parts. If you have one nearby, try them. Last time I asked though, they didn't have.

ATR Performance makes a 3" stainless steel mandrel bent cat-back for Third Gen Camaro's. Contact them, they will sell you the intermediate pipe minus the rest of the cat-back system. www.atrperformance.com
