Special Brackets for AIR pump & A/C when using 2055 Hookers?

I was considering getting the Hooker 2055's for my '89 TBI formula. I was lookin' under the hood and noticed that there might be a problem with using my original brackets for the AIR and A/C pumps. I definately want to retain these, but want to do it right. I know SLP makes something for 82-87 A/C brackets, but I dont know if this is just specific for SLP headers. If anyone has Instaled the 2055's and retained the A/C and AIR, please let me know how you did it, thanks!

P.S. would it be better to go through Jet-hot or American Coating Specialties for the headers?

Thanks, Ben

Well I do not have the 2055's but I do have hears and I have my AC and at one point had the air pump. I can't quit remember but there shouldn't be anything attached to your air pump. Also, you won't have any problems if you just remove the one bracket from the back of the AC. Many people do it without any problems.

The instructions that come with the headers show you what to do to the bracket to make it fit.

It isn't a good idea to eliminate it.
