Wet sanding stainless tips
I am in the process of polishing my stainless 3" tips and was wondering if I could wet sand them. Since the car was mainly a daily driver, they have a buttload of chips and scratches on them. When I polished my TPI plenum, I wet sanded it to get all the scratches out, then polished it. I was not sure if I could get the same results with stainless. What grain do you think would be most effective, 1500?
