weird exhaust question
I really haven't found much about this so I will just ask.
I have heard on motorcycles that going from a smaller to larger exhaust diameter through out the setup will improve its power.
will this work for a V8 "2.25 out of headers 2.5 out of cats then 3 out of muffler "will this just screw everything up or would it improve the flow of gasses

dont quote me on this but i would think its the exact opposite.. .that fact that the gas out of the motor is very hot and expanded it would need bigger pipping but by the time it gets to the back half of the car it would be cooler, then you could use smaller pipes... flow wouldnt be changed since the gas is now cooler and need less room, but this would keep the velocity of the gass at a decent amount all the way out of the car.. making almost a sucking effect making the exhaust gas leave very smoothly... again dont quote me on this but im almost sure
