zz4 and Hooker 2055?
Will this combo work, I did a search and all this talk on "D" ports made me nervous. I have a set of 2460's but thinking about the 2055's. Does anyone have this setup with problems or no problems? THanks.

The "issue" is the potential blocking of the D-port by the standard flange of the headers. It isn't limited to 2055's. With the slightly larger gauge of tubing used in the 2460 primaries, if anything the issue would be worse with them.
To remove all doubt, have the outside of the flange welded around the primary tubes. Then port-match the mating portion of the flange, making a smooth transition into the round primary tube.

Thanks five7kid
So going with the 2055's will be a good choice but not the best? I see Hedman makes a "D" port header, are those better? I'm just trying to think ahead and to avoid as many possible problems.

I don't believe the Hedmans are chassis-specific, so for that reason they may not be the best choice.
The other choice is to go with 1-3/4" primaries, and for shorties SLP is the only thing available to fill that bill.

Thanks again five7kid.
Before I buy the 2055's, does anyone have these on a ZZ4? and if so, are you happy with them or do you wish to have gone with SLP 1 3/4?

Hey Stephen. You got a pic of your y pipe? I've got the same headers & I'm in the process of getting a new y pipe made. It's a long story but the y pipe I have now was poorly done. So I'm looking for new ideas for a new one. Thanks.
