Ok I got my headers from ACS, they look beautiful!


Heres my problem:

On one header If I blow at the top of the air tubes, some blow very well (Can feel it on your finger if you stick it in the header tubes) and some dont very well at all, is this a problem?


Here is my biggest worry, my other header rattles when I move it, and I cannot get whatever is rattling out. I think it might be in one of the air tubes. Also on that header 2 air tubes blow absolutely no air, they are definetly plugged

Sounds like the coating clogged the tubes up. As for the rattle I wouldn't worry about it. It'll prolly be pushed out when you first start the car.

 

Is it ok to run on my car?



And go into my cat?

 

Use some flexible piece of wire or plastic, jam it in the air tubes to dislodge whatever is rattling. On my headers (coated by Jet-Hot) there were some beads in there. It sounded exactly the same.

 

It should be fine, and just start it without the cat.

 

Thanks you very much for the replies guys. I looked in there with a light and see one tube plugged with what appears to be a white bead.

I got mine from ACS also. Mine are the 2055's. Which ones are they?
