side splitter talpipes
Anyone with 2nd gen style side splitter tail-pipes? I was thinking about getting some nice looking tips without damaging the body work of my car and I thought this might be a nice option. What do you guys think?

I think it would look ok if you tuck it under the bumper, like on that blue TA.

Please post pics of the exhaust tips on your TAs so I can get some ideas. THanks!

I doubt you'll find many pics here. I hang around the Exhaust board quite a bit and I can safely say I've never seen it done on a 3rdgen Firebird before.
Although, I'm sure someone here could Photoshop the tips on that blue Trans Am onto a pic of your car, or some other Firebird.

Yeah I know but maybe pics of your current tips. It doesn't matter if they aren't side splitters. Just want to see what have people done to their TAs in the tips department.

Here's a picture of the tips on my car, dual 3" polished slash cut. They come with the Flowmaster American Thunder 3" cat-back system....I really like the way they look, but your splitter idea might be cool too. Personally I love the duals straight out the back though.

Good luck deciding what to do!
