Y-Pipe question
Since I have decided to take out my smog pump and A.I.R. system components, and run regular headers without the smog legal air tubes......... Where can I get the Y-Pipe ?? I have the stock LG4 exhaust system hooked up to a 1978 350 motor as of now. Will I need a different Y-Pipe to attach to the headers ?? What should I do guys ???

Well, Hedman makes a Ypipe to go with their headers, and I believe Flowtech does, Although I've heard the Flowtech isnt that good. Jeg's and Summitracing both sell Ypipes for 3rd gen's. Hope that helps......
FWIW, if you have the money, go with the Hooker 2055's from A.C.S. They will remove the AIR tubes on the headers and the Hooker Ypipe is BY FAR superior to all others.....

The 02 is/should be in the header's collector. Some people have said that it is there while others say they have had to weld one in. ACS will do it for you....They have an ad at the top of the board...click it and it should take ya there...good luck
