Edelbrock Cat back

Has anyone used the Edelbrock cat-back for their Third Gen? I am looking at getting a system for my girlfriends car. She has a 92 Z/28 with the TPI 5.0L (Engine code F). It has a single cat. Which kit do I need, 5672 or 5673? Anyone have any opinions on this kit? Fit, sound, looks, etc?

Thanks,

Love 'em

I had the cat-back on my old '88 Formula before I traded it in. When I put exhaust on my '91 GTA I didn't even think about it. It was going to be Edelbrock. I love the sound I get. Its not loud or obnoxious at all. Most people assume its still the stock exhaust until I lay on the gas. Then its obvious its not.

Sounds like you like it a lot - son't suppose you could get a sound clip of it could you? To my knowledge, there aren't any clips of the Edelbrock system on the board anywhere.

If not on the clip, can you characterize two things - it's sound under full throttle as it gets into the upper rpms (is it blatty or raspy or obnoxious sounding or does it maintain a nice, deep, full bass sound) and second, how it's sound is on the highway cruising along at 70 or so.

Thanks
