i just recently bought an 84 T/A that has a 350 dropped in it. i am looking to put aftermarket headers on. i was wondering if anyone knows of a particluar brand that is good as well as easy to install. from what ive heard sometimes installing new headers can involve unbolting the motor mounts and lifting the engine a little. i want to avoid having to make it a weekend project. so if anyone knows which headers will fit on a 350 and will be relativley easy to install let me know.

It's basically covered in the stickies.

There isn't one brand that's any "easier" than the others. Each has it's own quirks. Figure on making a weekend out of it.

Best advice is to get a set for '86-'90 TPI single-cat application, as well as the rest of the exhaust on back. 305 or 350 doesn't make a bit of difference. Direct-fit parts are available so all you need to do is bolt it together. Hooker 2055 headers, Catco 9118 direct-fit cat, and cat-back of your choice will fill the bill.

Figure on making a weekend out of it.

Or pay somebody half again what you paid for the parts to have it all installed.
