MAC headers, how do the braces bolt up?

Iwas just looking at my new MAC header set up and reading some header install posts in a search. There doesn't seem to be any provisions for the a/c brace with them. None of the bolt holes have sleeves, like other brands, and all the bolts supplied (the ones you don't use anyway) are the same length. I know this product isn't widely used on thirdgens yet, but if there is anyone out there with experience with a MAC install let me know. Mine didn't come with any installation instructions that I found either.

I left the braces off when I installed mine. I don't think they're even necessary with the serp. setup.

I thought about that, and it would probably be ok, but I was hoping to find a way to keep them in play.

You don't need them anyways. Hooker told me they were only for slight vibration dampning when the ac is on.

Use the stock studs (the ones with the nut on the end), and go to the hardware store and get a spacer or piping that will fit over the bolt snugly. Cut the piping (or spacer if necessary) to fit, and voila, all set. Some headers (like Hedman) have this in the installation instructions, and others did the same on this board.

It dawned on me today that all I had to do was cut my own little pieces of pipe like 91z28-350 suggested. I guess if you wanted to be obsessive you could tack them on with a welder too. Not that much work in the grand scheme. Thanks for the help.
