New Jets?
I had bought an 84 camaro with the L69 H.O. engine, and it smoked, so I just had the heads redone, but I want to kill 2 birds with one stone, so Im puttin headers on while I have the manifolds off. My question is by changing to headers, and getting a new exhaust system which will be 3inches all around, will the carburator need to be re-jetted?

Almost all people here do header swaps without even touching the carb. So I don't see why you should have to.

but would it benefit me more if I did? I mean im sure there would be a power increase, along with gas consumption, but thats with the bigger jets alone. You think the Stock carb is big enough, and how many CFM do you think the stock carb is, I think its a special quadrajet because of the H.O. motor.

The L69 has a computer controlled carb and distributor. It adjusts the mixture based on feedback data from the oxygen sensor in the exhaust.
You are doing a lot less than I did when I modified my LG4. Both use the same carb, although the programing is slightly different. However, the mixture control is identical. All I had to do was make slight adjustments to the idle speed and choke pull-off.
