my new hedman shorties
the install is pretty easy, shouldnt be any real headaches involved. i would suggest, however, to cut off the 2.5 inch pipe of the y-pipe and install a 3 inch pipe though, it will flow much much better.

i have hedmans and just finished and i would say to loosen the tranny x member and take out the motor mount through-bolt #3 in the pic. that way u can jack the engine up a good inch or more. other than that make sure u have the right tools and just take your time, taking your time helps and keeps things calm. it will go better. and good luck....o ya with they y-pipe i used a band clamp where it connects under the oil pan, or u can have it welded.

I had to move a brake line that was a little too close, other than that the headers went on pretty easily. Whatever you do, do not use a regular exhaust clamp to connect the y-pipe by the oil pan. I learned the hard way on a big bump.
