sounds mean man! what make yours crack up though?? whats your exhaust setup?? u have headers? carb or FI?

 

my cat had started falling apart internally last year and I took it off and put a peice of exhaust pipe in place of it, ever since then it has cracked up during the idle down. Other than that it is just a factory replacement style muffler and pipes. I do have a air leak at the exhaust manifold though, One of the studs is broken and I havent had time to fix it. So I imagine the air leak and the fact it it running a little rich is what you here. Other than that its a stock 305 with tbi. It has 190k on it also, but uses no oil and has no leaks, except the pan is starting to leak a little.
