I am just finishing rebuilding the engine in my '86 Firebird with the LG4. My dad used to work on cars and has been told that sometimes he sould use gaskets and sometimes he shouldn't. You guys all seem to know a ton of stuff about these cars, as I've been reading on here for a few months. I was wondering if it's worth it to put in exahust manifold gaskets or not. Thanks for all your time.

 

i am pretty sure that my stock manifolds didnt have gaskets. but with my headers i needed to use gaskets.
