heads/cam/intake/OPEN HEADERS sound clip

OPEN HEADERS

Right click on the link and select "save target as".

Not bad for a little 305, eh? It's a custom EFI manifold based off of the edelbrock Victor Jr, heads are S/R torquer 305's, and the cam is a lunati grind. 219/227 duration, 112 LSA, .471 int. .480 exh. lift.

I'll have some off idle clips within the next week or so. I have only tuned my fuel maps enough to get the car to idle good. Timing is stock as well, at 6d BTDC.

It's about 750 RPM in the clip, breathing thru open headers. Few more loose ends to tie up and I can start doing some light driving to data log and tune tune tune

Thanks

I've ran open manifolds before, and it has kind of a muddy sound to it. I personally didn't like the tone, but it was LOUD

IROCthe5.7L, what program are you using to try and view it? I'm set up for windows media player 9 and it seems to work ok. I'll see if I can clear up some space where I host my site and stuff, and I'll put up the original full size vid. Maybe the formatting got messed up when I trimmed it or something.
