where to place cutout valve?
ok i got this cutout valve in my hand. i want it welded before the cat.
problem is, the whole y pipe before the cat bends, so how have you people conqured this problem?

What kind do you have?
The "smartest" way, in my mind, is to make the cut-out the bend, so when the cut-out is open it's a straight shot out the opening.
One guy (forget who it was) posted a picture of one where they basically welded a cut-out cap flange on the bend so that when uncapped, it did what I described above.
