problems with heddman longtubes

I have hedman longtubes 68460 and so far they have been a pain in the @ss instructions say raise vehicle 36 in and install headers well i got the pass side in but it sits against the side of the k-member had to remove starter raise engine like 12in and remove all spark plugs wires and valve cover driver side i had to raise the vehicle like 12in and remove spark plugs wires and wiper motor when i got that header in the collecter sits angainst the part were the k-member connects to the a arm so the flange doesnt sit flush against agaisnt the head so i can either take a hammer to the headers... witch i dont want to do headman has a lifetime gaurentee as long as you dont alter the headers or i can cut on the k-member this is suppose to be a bolt in thing and i dont like how theses 330 dollar headers name brand, rub against the k member and i worried since they rub and i do have a big cam will the engine shaking or tourging eventually mess up these headers? anyone messed with these headers please help.....

The passenger side hits the K member or the a-arm? I had no problems at all on the passenger side but I did have to do some grinding on the drivers side a- arm mount to make everything fit. It sounds to me like you might need some new motor mounts.
