midpipe measurements...

midpipe measurements...

im looking at getting cutouts for my exhaust but i dont know what size my midpipe is, whats the most accurate way to measure this?

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
If the exhaust is stock, it's 2-1/4" OD.

The best way to measure it is with a caliper. Another possibility is to wrap a cloth tape measure around it and divide the results by 3.14159.
