There's a small pipe that runs from the cat, along side the y-pipe and up behind the head and runs to something (don't know what). Can it be cut safely for the LT1 swap.
My car's an '88 TBI 305 auto, and I'm in the process of taking it out and putting in a '96 LT1 and T56. I'll probably be putting in SLP headers anda y-pipe with a 3" cat. But I'd still like the option to be able to reuse it.
