Loud Exhaust
ok here is what it comes down too i want a loud deep tone sort of like the newest sound clip(88 camaro with 3 chambered flowmaster) but my question is would i have to get a complete cat back for a LOUD exhaust or would just a high flow muffler do the trick. im short on cash because of bills and owing people money.
cheapest and loud i can only think of a cutout. just get one and install it before your cat and that will be quite loud.
just installing a muffler u still have the stock crappy restrictive cat, and exhaust pipes. a muffler alone will help some but for pure loudness i dont think u could beat a 30 dollar cutout...

I agree a cutout is a sweet solution but I think a muffler like a bullet style race muffler or even moroso spiral pros are a better solution. They are loud and have a nice tone to them. If you run a single muffler and pipe like stock then a spiral pro out of summit racing is like 40-50 bucks. You can get a cat for 100 or so depends on make and you will have a relatively high flowing system with a loud mean sound. Should work great until you decide to finish the system with nice pipes or whatever when cash is right.
