when i did my headers i wasn't able to use my cat, so i put a pipe where the cat was, and since i didn't have a muffler it was LOUD so just put on a $15 cherry bomb where the cat was and it sounds great. and i think the only thing with glasspacks is that they wear out, the packing inside starts to go away, and i guess goes back to just being a pipe. so i would say for a temp system, then go for it.
o and don't bother gettin one online, just goto pep boys or something and get one, then u won't pay shipping or anything

Don't get glasspacks, unless you want your car to sound like a dump truck.
