Side exit Exhuast
Okz, guys as some of you know i got a new exhaust on my car. I want this beatch to side exit.
I'm thinking get it to come as normal, but not to a y-pipe keep it separate. And side exit on the passenger side. But i think i'm gonna use glass packs. I dunno.
But i want this **** to be loud as f*ck.
called my budy at the exhaust shop, and he said $30 or $40 for a side exit glass packed exhaust. I might even x-pipe that beatch.

is it possible to go a whole thread without reading you cuss?
anyhow, i think that it will sound like crap. we have been through this before with other people. a stock headed/cammed/intake on with open or near open exhaust sounds more like a beat up pulp wood truck. my car has aftermarket itake/carb/cam/rollerrockers/everything, and it still doesn't sound as good as it would through a complete catback.
i have headman longtubes going through dual moroso sprial mufflers.
i already have sitting in my designated "parts room" a hooker catback and a set of 2460 hooker headers. i think that they will sound WAY better then my current setup and can't wait to get the thing to an exhaust shop to get the y-pipe fabbed up.

I gotta say no other thirdgen is loud until you hear mine, and i can guarentee you.
But i agree with mw6, glass pakcs usually sound like crap on third gens. I am yet to hear a good one. i would take a Spintech following factory routing anyday over the side exit approach. I am also yet to see side exits i like on a third gen.
