lt1 and longtubes

Hey, i remember hearing on this board something about that lt1 swap + Hooker Longtubes + Lowering = BAD. I did a search but I can't find the exact info i need. Is this true? Any of you Lt1 swappers run this setup?

usually any LT's plus lowering is bad. The collectors for the LT's sit much lower to the ground than shorties or manifolds.
