Hedman LT's and a T-5
Hey guys, I have tried a search but I can't find a definate answer on the topic, I am looking to put some Hedman long tube headers on my formula, I woudl get the 68460's. Now I have a t-5 trans in the car and I need to know If the headers are going to clear the slave cylinder and what not. Thanks for any help guys..

I had a set of the Headman longtubes on my old 86 TA with the T5. You will need to grind down the bell housing around the slave cylinder, as well as dimple the collector to get enough clearance. I regretted getting the Headman LTs after they were on.

They will not fit. Do not grind down the bell housing near the slave cylinder. You need to notch and weld the header for it to fit. I did the same thing last year. If you are looking for a set already done, I have a set.
