DIY Ceramic Powder Coat?

I've heard of this before; baking your headers in an oven just like you would any other powder coat, with this special type of material with ceramic in it?? Does this really work? Who makes this stuff? VHT? How does it compare to Jet Hot or it's competitors? I think it'd be a great idea if it worked. How does Jet Hot do it? Is it dipped rather than sprayed? Sorry for the millions of questions, but I'm too poor to get anything Jet Hot coated. I'm just wondering if engine compartment temps will be lowered...

Yes you can Ceramic Coat your own headers with Techline ceramic.

Only problem is Your not going to be able to vibratory polish it inside. which is what actually SEALS and brings the luster out of the ceramic.

Same with the outside. I have seen s few Companies do it by hand and Ya the outside where you can actually reach looks Good but again you cant get 100% of it done.

The coating is the Easy part. I do the outsides with a HVLP Gravity feed gun like painting. 100% of the inside is a little Diff. but I have a way to get it all.
