hooker 2055's or Hedman?

read the sticky article up top, just wondering which of these two do most people find better. In your opinion, would modifying the Hedman ypipe to 3" outlet make it as good as the Hooker ypipe?

I like the hookers, but the problem is they come with air fittings. I'm a JetHot dealer, so they'll be coated which presents a problem in that I can't cut them off and weld them shut without messing up the coating. Only reason I'm thinking about the Heddmans is b/c they're the only ones I can get with a ypipe and no emissions.

Couldn't you request having the tubes cut off before coating? I assume JetHot takes special requests. Or, buy the headers yourself, cut/weld the A.I.R. tubes, then send them for coating.

That sounds like a lot less hassle than modifying the Hedman y-pipe.

Agreed. The 2055's are hard to beat. They have consistant primary size and a wonderful y-pipe. The only y-pipe that I have seen that comes close is the one that comes with the mac shorties.

Nothing against ACS, but JetHot is alot cheaper and since I'm a dealer, I get a pimp price. My rep owes me a favor.
