true dual

does any one know if its possible to run a true dual exhaust out of a third gen f body? some one at a custom exhaust said it was impossible becuase of clearance issues is he right or has it been done.

Yes it's possible, but both pipes must follow original exhaust path... can't remember exactly how the mufflers position..

I'm not positive on your purpose of your lowbrow retort but, you're still wrong.

*edit.. psychobowtie.. there is a sticky at the top of this forum that covers all bases of dual setups on these cars.

Ironically enough, better clearance is to be had using methods other than the stock routing. It is simply a matter of perspectives with regard to what is considered "********ing the thirdgen". So if you are so bold as to think your perspective is the only perspective of logic, well then you are not very logical.

Duals are possible but they have many downfalls. 99% of dual exhaust systems installed on these cars DO NOT use the stock routing. Pipe size and collector location sorta prohibit that. Therefore, ground clearance is seriously compromised along with a clear route to the rear of the car. Read the sticky at the top of the page. It covers pics and plenty of "how to's". ALso, try a search or two. This question comes up every day.
