Stock cat dimensions?
Tried doing a search but for some reason its not working. Anyways my car needs a new cat converter, I'm sure the stock one is still there. So what I would like to know is what size universal cat I can bolt in.
So what would be the length and in/out dimensions for a 1986 IROC, with 305 TPI?
Any recommendations what brand?
TIA

Don't do it!
Get a direct-fit unit. Summit p/n CTO-9118, ~$120.
The cheapest way to get it done.
(Unless you have access to exhaust fabrication supplies and equipment.)

Whatever turns your crank.
I've got them on two different vehicles, about 6 years of drive time and multiple emissions tests with no problems.
