I was looking at the mufflers for an f-body I saw P/N 14266 and P/N 14277 I read on one site that 14277 was a V6 muffler. Is that true? and what's the difference between the two of them. It looks like 14277 would be better flow. is that true?? and is one louder than the other?
From magnaflow...
First picture is 14226 Second one is 14277
You can refer to the diagrams above. Main differences between the two are the internal design. On is dual/offset and the other is dual/center. 14277 is louder but the one that will flow better is the 14266

i just don't get y the 14226 would flow more when it's 2.5 in and 2.25 outs. and the 14277 is 2.5 for in and out
EDIT: idunno if it was a long day for this guy or what but on thier site they list
2.5"/2.25" Dual 14266
3"/2.5" Dual 14267
2.5"/2.5" Dual 14277

Get the 14267, it likely outflows them both. I have a 14266 on my car, I like it. It's not too loud when you're just putting down the road, and there is no drone when you're on the highway, you can talk and hear the tunes. OTOH, it is quite loud at WOT.
Best of all, it outflows the Flowmaster 80.
