Headers for a 400ci

Hey I have a 305 in my car right now, Im building it with parts that can be moved from my 305 to the future 400.

I hear that 400's have trouble making power at high rpm, wat would be the best header for the 400.

I dont care about how it will preform on the 305.

Thanx Guys.

Your choice should depend on your HP goal, 1 5/8 primaries will work fine on a mild 400 but if you are looking to make 500+HP Hooker 2210's are the way to go. Hooker 2210 LT's are a good choice if you have angle plug heads. I bought a set of them not knowing they are made for angle plug heads and didn't use them because they fit so poorly. I have Hedman 1 5/8 LT headers and they fit great..probably a little too small for my combo but they work well.
