Edelbrock exhaust thumbs down?

Im wondering if im the only one who has purchased an edelbrock exhaust system. for one its not completely 3 in intermediate pipe. so i had to replace one peice of the pipe with a 3in. also the inlet on the muffler has 2 small 3/4-1inch holes that the exuast passes through first and sounds kinda odd and i just dont like it, but i heard a stock 305 LG4 with just a flowmaster catback and omg it made me have a stiffy. i couldnt beleive how good it sounded. it would be really awsome if someone had a good sound clip of a flowmaster on a mild 350 or 305.

Hey, I got the smaller Pacesetter headers on LG4 that puts out about 220horses. It sounds really good, now I can assure you that the edelbrocks will sound a lot better. Also, any setup sounds good without the cat. I am personally leaving the cat on, and I am going straight pipe, preferably without the muffler.
But yea, the edelbrock headers are good up to probably 350-400hp I'd say. For 350 however, i'd go with hookers (pun intended).
Good luck.

Well i was talking about edelbrock catback system not the headers, i have a 400 also and slp 1 3/4 headers and 3in cat(not gutted) it sounds almost like the car revs up too fast, i think it might be the intake setup i have on it but im not sure. the car needs a little work anyways.
