Electric Exhaust Cutout
http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/...uct_detail&p=3
Is that the exhaust cutout I would need for an 84 Z28 L69, with Edelbrock 3in TES Headers.
I think it will fit on, but i want to put it before my Cat, and my cat is bolted on to the y-pipe, so how would i connect this when this has no bolts?
Even if i were to clamp or weld, would I have to cut the plate off the header that allows me to bolt a cat on, so I could slip it on?
Bassicaly how would i install this on my setup?

You could have it welded in, or weld on flanges. I purchased a Summit cutout, and am going to try to start a Mccord Group Purchase soon. The cost of the summit cutout was 26 bucks, and I had it ceramic coated by ACS. The cost of the Mccord cutout is 110, but with the GP(Group purchase), the bigger the group, the cheaper the price.
I had the cutout installed right after the y-pipe, it had to be bent a bit, then the cat installed after that.

I too am interested in this mccord. Hell, I'd take 2. Is there a site where I can read about it at all? The cut out itself, that is.
