Steering Column Removal?

I just removed my old manifolds, I have the Edelbrock TES and I need to remove the steering column to put the TES in. The only problem is I dont exactly know how to remove it. So your help would be greatly appreciated.

Umm, not really. Avoid that idea entirelly. If you look towards the firewall in the engine bay you can see the intermediate shaft. if it's necessary to move it you can remove 1 bolt from where it hooks up to the endshaft of the column, compress it with your hands, pull it off and move it out of the way and reinstall it. I'm guessing your talking about that. When reinstalling it only goes in one way so there is really nothing to worry about, it can be a pain to get back on somewhat.

I hate to be rude but that is exactly what you need to do, compress it with your hands. Thousands of people have put headers on these cars, those with headers that required moving the steering shaft pulled it out with their bare hands.

:edit: ok nevermind i see you got it, sorry missed your last post
