The group purchase is now ready. The list can be found here:

http://www.mccordcg.com/mpp/tgogp2.htm

From Mccord

"Here you go http://www.mccordcg.com/mpp/tgogp2.htm . Shipping is usually between $8.15 - $10 UPS Ground to the US. Canadian shipping is slightly higher. We do not ship overseas due to problems tracking and verifying packages.

All extra connectors for this GP are half priced so a single would be $5 off and a dual would be $10 off.

The webpage will allow you to pre-order your unit. Once the limit or date are reached, then people will order them with their credit cards via the website and using a special code. When people sign up for this list by emailing us with the link on the top of the page, they will receive a confirmation email back with instructions."

If you have any thought of getting the best option for a cutout(imo) now would be the time to save money on the purchase.

Because of the clutter of the previous post, I thought this should replace that sticky.

I just ordered it, didn't want to take a chance of it getting there too late with the 5-10 working day "machining" time.

You can specify that when you order it. Being on the list just means your buying a cutout from them, any size and with or without options(weather pack connector, toggle switch)

I'm going to get the weather pack connector, for only 5 bucks, I can't go wrong.

If anyone knows of an online car club or message board where they may be interested, post this link. Or any local car clubs, or people.

Y'know, I'll bet some people wont sign up because they think only hte people in each section get the discount. As in, everyone in slots 1-5 still pay the list price, whereas everyone in slits 6-9 get 5% off, and so on.

THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Everyone pays the same price. We already have enough people so that everyone signed up will get the 5% discount. so..............

Sign up by sending them an email form the page that is provided in this thread, your name will be added, then they will send you an email asking you to place an order. Go to their online store and place your order as normal, BUT SAY THAT YOU ARE TAKING PART IN THE TGO GP. They will wait until the gp closes, and then charge you the final ammount. And you can pay by money order.

Umm this thread never was a sticky. The other one was. it was called something like "Another group purchase from mccord?"

Look in the exhaust section. I'm pretty sure that sticky is still there.

Ends 12/15/04 or 20 Orders

If you have the cutout open on the street, it is most definitely illegal.

One more person until the 8% discount.

Well, I got my cutout today from Summit. But I wont install it until I get the MPP so that I can angle it properly and stuff.

Also, I bet there are a bunch of people just waiting until the very end to sign up. interesting idea, because while they are waiting, other people are getting in front of them in line to have them built. Still, I wouldnt be suprised if like 4 people signed up on the tenth lol.

Once the GP closes, everyone will be notified and you can then order online using the given username and password. Any orders before the closed date may not be eligable for the group purchase discount.
this is a bit of text from their gp page that lead me to believe we had to wait until the 15th.. Its the second half of the first paragraph, right under the words "order list"

Woah, yeah, you're right.. Yet it said you could just note that you were a TGO GP member when ordering and they would wait.. And I know they havent charged me for it yet, nor have I been given any shipping information..

This is from the message..

Quote:

You can order your MPP2 immediately from the site at www.mccordcg.com/mpp/order.htm . First ordered, first out once the GP is completed. The list price will be reflected on your order but your credit card will not be charged until the GP is over and the unit is ready to ship. This can be considered a "pre-order" if you will.

In the special instruction area on the order page, please note that you are participating in the Thirdgen.org GP. That way, we will not immediately build it, bill it and ship it out as if it were a normal order.

Even though we did not reach the number of people needed for the maximum discount, Mccord is giving it to the people on the list anyway. Tis the season of giving.

Thanks to everyone who put there name on the list. You may now order your cutout here, www.mccordcg.com/mpp/order.htm

Happy Holidays!
