from what ive learned they dont make them specifically for a 3rd gen,but the ones for the 4th gens are very easy to install from what ive read, this catback is what im looking into in the future too

I had a LM on my Iroc for about a month. It gave me a friggin' headache. It was WAY too loud, but then I had a cam and headers too.

The only difference as far as I know with the LS1 and the LT1 is that the LT1 comes with a different set of hangers. Neither are used on the thirdgen, so it doesn't really matter.

I don't have any pics of the fab work for the thirdgen, only stock outta the box pics.

do you think it would be better to just buy the hooker syastem for it since its just a bolt on app? i like the cheap part alot to and people say that it has a nice clean tone. thats what im looking for is a semi loud deap clean throaty sound but its kinda hard with single exhaust and i dont want to do a hillbilly job of riggin up duals on it. can you post those pics of the LM in the box?

I have this on my 88 IROC....the rear section from a LS1 loudmouth fits perfectly....the I pipe is from my Edelbrock catback.....no modification at all..... all u need is a hanger from the LS1.

Ive got it on a 94Z. sounds good. a little to loud at idle.

If I was keeping it id remove the resonator they use and replace it with a bullet style muffler. This would quiet it down a little and give it a great sound. and most likely stop some of the piping on decell.

pm me if your interested in buyin mine. still on the car so I can get video/sound if you like.
