clearance with full length headers and header mufflers?
car: 1984 Camaro z28 5sp LG4
would there be sufficient ground clearance if i had full length headers and header mufflers? i would want the mufflers to hug the underside of the body and maybe do a side exit sistem
i dont know which headers i would want, im on a budget, working at mcdonalds doesnt pay well, so i would probably go with the cheapest full length headers i could find and the mufflers are only like 25 bucks each, heres the link:

I would stick with shorties and a good 3 inch exhaust. I would normally recommend the hedamn LT's but you have a five speed and they won't fit.

well like i said, workin at mcdonalds doesnt really give me alot of extra money to throw around, ive looked at it looks like a good catback exhaust is going to be around $300 plus the cost of headers and taking it to a shop to be welded (i hate welding exhaust on to cars, id to it myself but i can never reach the top side) and i dont want to shell out that much cash, with the headers and the mufflers from jegs it will be only about 175 bucks which is in my price range, plus the cost of a couple feet of exhaust pipe which i cant imagine will be too expensive
