ok i am doing a swap in late winter....MIGHT be n LT1 crate motor, but i do have a question. I want dual exhaust, real dual. so i wanted to know if anybody knew of longtube headers that would fit my car also how does this setup sound: Long tube headers, cats bolted right to headers, hedman h pipe bolted right to cats, then at the end of the h pipe will be summit chambered long tube mufflers, then i will have a shop make me some tailpipes. Does this sound like it would work? The rear end of my car is slightly higher than the front so that will help, i will also tuck it up as much as i can for clearance. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

you would want to put the h pipe in front of the cats...the closer the h pipe is to the motor the more effective it is. also youre gonna have a tough time fitting cats in there no matter where you put them

well, they are going to be connected directly to the cats and the cats will be right into the h pipe, or is that not close enough?

im not exactly an expert on this so im going to leave it open for a more knowledgeable response. the sooner you have the h pipe the better but i dont know how much a difference it makes if you put it after the cats
