Breslin vs. Stage 8 Header Bolts

I'm going to be installing some Hooker 2055's on my car probably within the next week and I need to get some locking header bolts.

Should I go with Breslin: http://www.go-breslin.com/text.html

or

The Stage 8's: http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&vid=6&pcid=54

That's a tough decision. It depends on what you want to spend. Price wise it looks like the Stage8 are the better deal. Now that's not to say that they are better. Another thing to consider is the allen bolt in the Breslin. In a discussion a while back it was brought up, what would happen if the allen bolt seized up in the bolt? I'm not exactly sure if they have a problem with that but it might be a good question to ask Breslin about. As for stage8, I know that I had very few problems getting mine to work with my headers but once they were on, they work.

Opinion wise, I would probably go with Stage8 again if I had too. That's only cause I don't have the 411 on the breslin since they are still kinda new on the market compaired other locking bolts.

I like the design of the Breslins much better. I was only able to use a few of the locking tabs on the bolts because of the location of the primary tubes to the bolt holes. Every header will be different but be it as it may I still had to back some of the bolts off to get the tabs to lock-up. I also, wasn't about to take a grinder to the $40 tabs that wouldn't fit. It is a good idea but it is to universal to be effective on all set-ups. The breslins will be.

I've used a grinder on all the sets of Stage 8s I've ever used. It's easy, they'll stay on, and it won't hurt them.

Antiseize is always a good idea on any header bolt, it's saved me several times.
