basicly reseach for everyone intending on swapping a genIII motor into their thirdgen. mods, please dont delete or move.



anyone have some hooker longtubes cheap? im looking for some used ones that i can use to test the possibility of fitting onto a LS1... basicly hold it to the motor... if it clears reasonably, i'll cut the flange off, and spread the tube spacing to match the LS1 flange.. weld it up and poof. LS1 header for 3rdgen.

with some luck, we can get it down to a how to... perhaps get someone like hawks or someplace to do a production style run..

GM already has cheap flanges, intended for custom headers. if we can get this worked out, it may be somthing for everyone to do.
